Kings Barcade, the Raleigh indie-music landmark that was set to reopen tonight after a 3-year hiatus, appears to have been postponed - but likely only until tomorrow night. According to local news blog New Raleigh and the MySpace page for Slim's, the show planned for tonight at Kings featuring The Spring Collection, The Royal Nites, and The Tomahawks has been moved to Slims. On Friday, the Facebook pages for Mura, Sono, and The Oxford all touted the upcoming openings of two new ventures by their parent company Eschelon Hospitality. The posts included links to the websites for the new places, called Trim and The Ivy.
